Sessions of Prayer
Prayer is a daily practice for me, but never as fervently as when the Texas Legislature is in session. A part-time legislature, they meet for 140 days during odd numbered years. For the past 20 plus years it has been my practice to come into my office early each morning that legislative circus is in town to write a daily devotional.
Initially, my deal with God was that if He gave me a message each day, it would be shared. He never runs out of material.
