Privacy policy

This is a personal website. It exists so Kathi can share her writing, and it asks for as little from you as possible. Here is plainly what is collected and what happens to it.

What is collected

The site has two forms. The subscribe form asks for your email address and, optionally, your first name. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and your message. That is the only information the site gathers.

Both forms are handled by a small program on the site’s own server, hosted by Bluehost. Submissions are stored on that server, out of public reach, and emailed to Kathi.

There are no comments, no user accounts, and no advertising. At this time the site runs no tracking or analytics scripts. The hosting company may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of running the site; those logs are not used by Kathi to identify visitors.

How it is used

• Email addresses from the subscribe form are used to send you Kathi's writing, and for nothing else.
• Details from the contact form are used only to read and reply to your message. Messages are private and are never published on the site.

Your address is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone.

Unsubscribing

To stop receiving emails, reply to any email Kathi sends and say so, or send a note through the contact page. Your address will be removed.
